Barbara, Your answer to Marlin says it all. Yes, PD and depression strenghten each other, no matter which came first. I guess many of us have experienced these vicious monsters devastating their minds and bodies, without leaving you any chance... Any chance ? I am not sure. As human beings, we all are vulnerable, fragile, influenceable, naked ; it shows when we are confronted for the first time with enemies sitting in the middle of ourselves, like PD or depression. So what ? As human beings, we also are clever, flexible, friendly. We communicate all around the world using strange machines, ignoring time and distance. We are smart ! First step : rescue. We know we can count on this list : each time one of us sounds depressed, another jumps in with a friendly message, like you, Barbara, just did with you, Marlin. Second step, hopefully. What about fighting back ? Let's watch carefully, and maybe write down what happens in day-to-day life. I have done that for a couple of months, until I found out the whole thing works according to some sort of logic. From that point on, I can analyze, strategize, run, shoot and win. I know, this is an arrogant attitude : again, so what ? Arrogance is exactly what we need to fight PD. Aaaah, I feel good. Today score : Bernard 1, PD 0. Friendly yours Bernard JOLY [log in to unmask]
