My wife informs me that the slip sheet is not silk but a satin
polyester which is a good substitute for silk. This explains
why it was so much cheaper (about $10 Australian).

The slip sheet should measure about 2.5 metres x 1 metre.

Like silk the satin polyester provides a surface which makes
turning over much easier.
