First of all, apologies for my oops yesterday, of sending message to list
instead
of to my friend Gene. Moral of that is don't send msg. when meds are off!

Last winter my wife decided to pamper us a little and get flannel sheets for
the bed. The first night nearly led to a panic attack. At 2 oclock in the
morning
when my meds were off I needed to make a bathroom run. Lo and behold
I could not get myself unwrapped from the twisted mess of flannel sheets
and flannel pajamas. The feeling must have been what one experiences in
a straight jacket. Fortunately my wife woke up and rescued me. After
telling one of my veteran PD friends, he suggested getting nylon pajamas.
Although we have a great local shopping center no stores carried that
product. I finally was able to purchase them through the catalog order
dept. of J.C. Penny Co. Switching back to cotton sheets and using nylon
P.J.s has greatly reduced both the friction between sheets and the panic.
If you live in a very cold climate and nylon P.J.s don't give enough
warmth, order them a size larger and wear your "long johns" ( thermal
under wear -- in real English) under the P.J.s.
Of course if you can afford silk sheets and silk pajamas, go for it.

Hope this little tip will make someone have a better night.
