Hi, on Fri, 17 Jan 1997 22:27:51 -0500, you wrote for suggestions regarding cramping on your mother's right side. I am wondering whether your mother has tried any muscle relaxers for overly stretched muscles, which seems to be a side effect for some of us from the other meds. I have recently had good success for neck pain & cramping, which can radiate down my whole right side, by my neuro increasing my amitriptyline (Elavil) from 25 mg to 100 mg at night. In addition, I generally take two Xanax .25 mg/day. Also, some of us also receive benefit from regular massage from a trained and licensed massage therapist. Good luck.
