I picked up the following on an Internet Newsgroup:

>
> >>Australian government health authorities have issued a public warning
> that they believe melatonin can cause ovarian cancer.
>
> I don't know whether a 'safe' level has been ascertained, all I heard
> was a news report giving the warning as what sounded like a somewhat
> blanket statement intended for those taking melatonin supplements. (I
> understand melatoin is a popular aid for coping with jet lag.)

interest.

Best,

Bob
