The first is a web site. It's at http://www.ari.net/newswise. It is supposedly a "comprehensive resource of science and medical research news culled from 200 science, medical, and business research institutions." I haven't yet checked it out myself, but it sounded useful. The other is an ad for an upcoming conference in LA. The conference is entitled, "Technology and Persons with Disabilities." It will be held March 18-22, 1997. Ray Bradbury will deliver the keynote address on the second day. It will have exhibits and general sessions related to the latest assistive technologies.
