Wendy T...

Thanks for the information about the conference at CSUN (Cal State u, at
Northridge). I'm not only interested in attending, but it's practically in my
own backyard.

I'd be interested to know if any others from this group will be attending, as
I think it'd be fun to meet there - perhaps for lunch, dinner or dessert -
during or after the conference.

Subject: EETimes Info Relevant to PD

The following two items I found in EETimes magazine (which is a magazine for
electrical engineers), which are somewhat relevant for PD.

The first is a web site. It's at http://www.ari.net/newswise. It is
supposedly a "comprehensive resource of science and medical research news
culled from 200 science, medical, and business research institutions." I
haven't yet checked it out myself, but it sounded useful.

The other is an ad for an upcoming conference in LA. The conference is
entitled, "Technology and Persons with Disabilities." It will be held March
18-22, 1997. Ray Bradbury will deliver the keynote address on the second
day. It will have exhibits and general sessions related to the latest
assistive technologies. For registration info contact:
