Milk is also high in tryptophan <spelling?> which is a natural sleep inducer.
Tryptophan can also be found in turkey, which may account for all those folks
dozing off after their Thanksgiving dinners <smile>

Of course.  I should have thought of it sooner.  Do you know why people have
always taken warm/hot milk at night?? the Calcium.

Calcium is a natural relaxant.  Taken warm it gets into the system faster and
goes to work quicker.  It relaxes the muscles. Ever notice how quickly a baby
goes to sleep after/during a bottle of warm milk?

Thank you for reminding me of something I have known of all my life, but did
not
think to apply to my PD.
