I couldn't care less about all that French stuff that's been posted recently. But I would never think to tell them to cut it out. I simply press my "delete" key. I cannot believe that *money* is the overriding issue here... or even *time.* Maybe the answer is better utilization of the "Subject:" line when posting. If the post is a joke, label it as a joke, and all the non-humor-appreciating list members can delete it without the *time* it takes to "open" the posting. The same with "French" items. Like I said, I appreciate everyone's comments; I generally save the humor postings into a special "humor" directory on my hard disk; and I print out a lot of the advice and new treatment postings for my father-in-law, who is the PWP and the reason I joined the list in the first place. And I do a lot of deleting. But I really appreciate the ability to decide myself about which items to delete. I'm a big believer in freedom of speech. --Bob
