Hi there, My father is a PD sufferer living in Ireland (67/15+) and was told recently by his neurosurgeon that there is a new type of surgery available in the UK which seems to be successful, this is all the info I have. My father was also told that he was a good candidate as he was in good health (joke???) however the Irish health insurance bodies do not cover this treatment.
