Hi folks. Margaret and I are preparing the Feb. _Inkshed_ and I was reviewing the CASLL emails that have been sent since Dec. I really would like to excerpt parts of the "memorization" debate that went online...would anyone who participated have any objection to seeing your words in hard-copy? I will also summarize the texts/video references that were circulated about group work training. (BTW, Cathy, if you're reading this, you said you and Amanda were working on a list of texts on this topic: is it ready? and if so, could we put it in _Inkshed_?) As well, would all those giving a paper at CCCC in Phoenix please email me an abstract of your talk....I know Roger that you're giving a talk but I don't have a copy of your abstact. (Which BTW is at the *same* time as the Canadian Caucus panel talk....is this a bad coincidence or what?) And finally, a plug for the Inkshed 14 conference. It's not to late to check out the web-site http://www/umd.umich.edu/~marcyb/ink14/props.html and send in a proposal. (And even if you don't want to be on the official program...please consider coming to participate in all the neat "reading" stuff we've got planned...) all the best to everyone...consider this a collective valentine... (And if I had the time I'd work on an ascii heart!) Mary-Louise
