MEDIEVAL LATIN AT TORONTO THIS SUMMER:

The application deadline is fast approaching for MA- and PhD-level
summer Latin courses at the Centre for Medieval Studies in Toronto.
Applications are due at the Centre by March 3.  For further information,

Beginning in 1997, the Centre for Medieval Studies in Toronto will offer
summer courses in Medieval Latin at the MA and PhD levels.  The courses
will be concurrent and will lat seven weeks (23 June to 8 August).
Enrolment will be restricted and will depend on performance in the April
1997 examination.  Fee for the courses: $600 (US) for non-Canadians, $600
(Can.) for Canadians.  Two full-tuition bursaries have been made
available by the CARA committee of the Medieval Academy of America. For
