Hello Cary-- I was struck by the guilt and anguish you write about, and the difficult situation for all of you. What right have your parents' friends to object to their decision, anyway? I'm sure it was hard enough on your mother without that extra burden! Perhaps it would be helpful to her ( and to you) if you were able to join the CARE list on her behalf, and share info with her, as many of the CGs do . You may have missed a posting about it,ask me how to do it.
