To Mike Stewart & Barbara Hodgson

Helen (80/6) took 1 - 50mg disipal (Orphenadrine Hydrochloride) twice a
day when she was first diagnosed as a PWP. This completely stopped the
tremor, for the first week, but this gradually returned and at the end of
five weeks was just as bad as it was when she was diagnosed. During this
period she suffered from very severe nausea and general discomfort.

She tried cogentin (Benztropine Mesylate) later, but found the
disembodied sensation affected her reactions when driving the car. She
was put on eldepryl, and dropped the anticholinergics until last year,
when the disturbing reports on eldepryl caused her to switch back. For
some months now she has been taking procyclidine hydrochloride, which
doesn't stop the tremor, but dampens it to a bearable degree - and, so
far, has had no side effects.

I hope that this is helpful
