So "Parkinson's is Parkinson's" is it.  I suggest you advise him that
'doctors are doctors' and find yourself another one.  Is he a GP or a
neurologist.  Your mother needs to be evaluated by a specialist.

Any doctor who refuses to refere you for a second opinion is covered
by the 1st Law of People to Beware Of, which states:

"He who thinks he knows everything, doesn't know the first thing."
