Thanks to Ivan and Sheldon for their reply to my question about the Permax, Joe also has the slowed gait, and stooped posture but his balance is pretty good, His sense of direction is terrible and he has the blank unblinking face with a drool, I know these are PD symptoms. He has been having a pretty good time for about 10 days now, when he has good days like this he thinks he has been fine for months and begins to believe he could live on his own, we know better. He still has a lot of denial that he won't get better. But unfortunately we have been told by many that this disease is relentless and even though we may have calm seas now it does not take much to cause his sypmtoms to be aggrevated. He admits to having the disease but has a difficult time realizing how much it has really affected him. thanks to all for the information , Norma
