TO: BOB & JOY GRAHAM I was taking 5mg twice a day for 6 days when the nose bleed occured. The MDs didn't offer anything to alleviate the high blood pressure other than stop the medication. My blood pressure returned to almost normal (120/70) after two weeks. I was not eating any of the foods you mentioned and I rarely ever do. I am a diabetic and I eat very little meat. Primarily I eat raw vegetables, tofu or tempeh, for protein, and beans of all kinds. (Eggs also). I have no doubt that Eldepryl caused the problem. High pressure is one of the warnings for Eldepryl.
