Advocacy "Contact Team" Organizes to Enlist Support Groups

To ensure passage and funding of the Udall bill this year, a special task
force is forming to galvanize the nationwide network of Parkinson's-
affected individuals and support groups as resources for an organized
grassroots campaign.

The intent of this campaign is to take advantage of the disease's prevalence
by locating as many support groups as possible.

The goals:

--Identify at least one support group and at least one active contact person
in every one of Americas 435 Congressional districts.

--Find a person or team to act as "chief contact galvanizer" in each of the
50
states.

--Organize them together into a nationwide advocacy network.

The following people have signed on as members of the newly formed "Support
Group Contact Team." Please feel free to contact any or all of the
following
individuals to express your interest in helping out!
