Anxiety could possibly be a side effect of current medication. My pharmacist once switched me to generic Sinemet because he was out of the "trade name" supply and two-three weeks later I was a "basket case" as my daughter would describe me. All it took was 24 hours back on the regular Sinemet and my symptoms of anxiety were gone! I am not trying to say that the generic would cause everyone the same response..........others may react to the tradename of a drug in the same way or not show any response of anxiety. But, I would want to carefully examine any recent changes in medication if anxiety is creeping into the scene. Rita Weeks
