My dad has had a lot of vision problems since PD. (he also lost some peripheral vision when glaucoma got out of control, but that seems separate). His problems seem mostly to be a matter of confused depth perception. He'll watch bemusedly as liquid "piles up" in a glass he can't see - or laugh as someone apparently walks through something (like his walker) when in fact they are walking behind it. When he walks in the corridors of his apartment building, objects at the side of the hall appear to be out in the middle until he gets close - at which time they courteously move out of the way! (This phenomena has been resolved by wearing a patch over the right eye - the side the objects always move from/to - while he's walking. Adds to his reputation as a swashbuckler, besides!)
