     My dad has had a lot of vision problems since PD. (he also lost some
     peripheral vision when glaucoma got out of control, but that seems
     separate).  His problems seem mostly to be a matter of confused depth
     perception.  He'll watch bemusedly as liquid "piles up" in a glass he
     can't see - or laugh as someone apparently walks through something
     (like his walker) when in fact they are walking behind it. When he
     walks in the corridors of his apartment building, objects at the side
     of the hall appear to be out in the middle until he gets close - at
     which time they courteously move out of the way! (This phenomena has
     been resolved by wearing a patch over the right eye - the side the
     objects always move from/to - while he's walking. Adds to his
     reputation as a swashbuckler, besides!)
