    Dear LIstmembers,

     Labels on two  COMMON over-the-counter products now tell us about
not
using them if an MAO-B inhibitor is in use (Eldepryl).  These are
Robitussin cough syrup (I  think it's Robitussin DM)  and Sucrets cough
drops.
.
     Also Demerol can be a killer, if you use Eldepryl.  One  of our
Portland,
Maine support group members nearly had  heart failure because he was
given Demerol in a hospital, and was using Eldepryl!!
