Is the dye used in the thyroid test the same as that used in the CAT scan of the brain? I have never had that thyroid test but rather a blood test. However many years ago I had a CAT scan of my brain with some type of radioactive dye when doctors were trying to find the reason for my migraine headaches. Therefore, I wonder if it is the dye not the thyroid symptoms? Marling [log in to unmask]
