Gee folks..... I've been banking at Wells Fargo Bank for over 20 years, and I've gotta tell ya, my signature for the past 5 or 6 years has looked like any of 50,000 different people could have written it at any given time. And out of all those 50,000 different signatures, not a ONE of 'em looks like the one on my signature card at the bank. SOOO... do you think Wells Fargo has even so much a sever QUESTIONED any one of those utterly bizarre signatures on my checks all these years? (Everybody shakes their respective and collective heads side to side while mouthing "Noooooooo!") You're absolutely RIGHT! It is your mothers money they are safeguarding. On the other hand asking for a 'note' from the doctor seems a bit obssesive. You would think that the word of an adult would suffice. My own bank manager has been very cooperative. Possibly the fact that his father has PD has influenced his thinking. Possibly he would have agreed to anything to get me out of his office once I launched into my favorite "No, your PWP is not messing you about when they won't do now what they did perfectly well 1/2 an hour ago" speech. Either way he hasn't bounced one of my cheques yet. Dennis ++++++++++++++++++++ Dennis Greene 47/10 [log in to unmask] ++++++++++++++++++++
