Dear George, Thank you for your reply. It was one of several that I received (all from men, incidently) which all described newly-developed stuttering. Iain's stuttering is certainly not severe enough to warrant treatment (he can go a week without an episode). But he can find it frustrating. I didn't know if its occurance had anything to do with the PD, which is why I asked the question in the first place. One reader described it as "oral festination" which I thought a perfect description. thanks again for your reply, Barb Bates
