The recent postings about skin conditions and the autonomic nervous system have been interesting. In my case I had blepharitis of the left eye lid for many years before being diagnosed with PD. I also had dermatitis on the left side of my scalp for fewer years than the blepharitis. Following about three months of sinemet both conditions cleared up....GONE! Now, three years into sinemet the scalp condition has returned but the blepharitis has not returned. It is also interesting to note that both of these skin conditions occured on the same side of the body where my left leg and foot don't work as good as they should. I also wonder if that blepharitis was my first PD symptom.
