Hello Debbie,  I must admit that it is beginning to look as though your mum
does not have simple (!) Parkinsons Disease.  You have not yet proven the case -
it could be that your mother needs mor levodopa than some people to ensure
that some gets through to the brain. I would expect your specialist will comment
on that. My decision point would be about 200 mg in one dose, three times a day.
If that does not produce a reaction, you might have to look elsewhere, and I
will make another entry in my 'so you think you know about PD?' file.
