Mark--Peter tried Permax, building up slowly, but it seemed to make
him EVEN MORE somnolent--we didn't need that! He backed off it, and
recently the neuro tried him on Parlodel, which was OK till he got to
a level of 3 tabs. a day (after 6 wk. buildup) and started hallucinating
and episodes of confusion.
We're waiting for one of the newer agonists
(probably Pramipexole(Mirapex) to be available soon and will give it a
try. It is supposed to have fewer side effects. Permax works for lots of
folks, so I wish you luck--maybe you're one of them!
