        Clipped from newspaper last week: Dr. Gerald Burke, UCLA Medical
Plaza, is working with spraying the throat with a local anesthesia so he can
inject animal protein collagen into the vocal cords. The idea is to
strenghten the vocal cords. The French have been working with this idea for
7 years, but they put the patient under full anesthesia which was felt did
nopt work well for Parkenson's patients.
        Dr. Matthias Kurth is the source of that last sentence. I think of
him as the liquid Sinemet man.
        Anyway, has anyone heard anything about this?
