My doctor, a movement disorder specialist who does research at the National Parkinson unit at Miami and now at Tampa, switched me to an all=vegetarian diet last month. He reported that research showed one-half cup of milk stops the circulation of levadopa instantly! So milk products are on the list -- but sweets are fine! (But not according to the keeper of my weight -- She Who Must Be Obeyed!) This is, of course, just an extention of previous recommendations regarding carbohydrates and protein. I cheat a good deal, and find it difficult to find good vegetarian recipes which aren't loaded with cheese. Any suggestions for cookbooks? [log in to unmask] Bob Bishop
