Hi Rosemary. I'm new to the list. I've been lurking and waiting for the oppotunity to make a meaningful contribution. Like your father I suffered from double vision. Mine was due to a surgically repaired detached retina, and caused me great discomfort. Happily I was referred to the University Hospital pediatric ophthalmology department in which a specialist in prisms evaluated me and prescribed new eyeglasses in which prisms were ground into the lenses. I still have some visual problems, but I no longer have double vision. Have your dad check it out. It's definitely worth trying. Good luck.
