These foods are generally aged cheeses [stilton particularly but far from exclusively], summer sausage [really any aged meat, anything wurst is ammong the worst], old wines [sauternes especially], smoked foods, anchovies, aged liquors. These are the worst offenders. A MAO inhibitor such as many anti-psychotics / anti-depressants and Eldeprtl [particularly if above 10 mg/day] wil make things worse.
