Wave a Flag: Help Fight Parkinson's Disease is the theme of World Parkinson's Day in Western Australia. Our public awareness and fund raising project involves the sale (by donation) of lapel-sized stick pin flags at various locations - for example in shopping centres. The flag has a picture of our newly adopted symbol- the tulip and the words "Parkinson's Australia", which is the name of our national body. The WA Minister for Health will be launching this day. Volunteers will hand out information about PD as well as sell flags. Joy Graham Parkinson's Association of WA
