re: PD and Depression Bruce, I had the exact same experience as you regarding depression, and am also now taking Effexor. I experienced a major bout with depression several years before being diagnosed with PD, was put on antidepressants -which helped, but it always was there. I have learned to deal with it but have discovered the antidepressants are definitely a necessity in my case. Rosemary Russell 49, 2 1/2 yrs.
