A friend who made her first call to a Senator got the following info from the Murray staffer she spoke with: the Senator does not divulge her position on pending legislation over the phone. The reason is that if a bill she initially favors is changed and she has to now vote against it, constituents get disturbed. Any suggestions on how to proceed on this one? Phil Tompkins
