I have experienced the mental freezing quite a few times since I was
DXed with PD. The more common term is "mental confusion" and it is
often a side-effect of PD medications. The most common form is being
unable to follow a thread of thought. For instance, I will start to
look for a specific page in a document and before I get to it I will
have forgotten what I was looking for. There was also an increase in
the incidents of the "mind's a blank" phenomenon. The most serious
condition I ever exeperience was what I call "disassociation". By
that I mean I would have the image of a three sided figure in my
mind and also have the word "triangle" but would not be able to
associate the two.

Of course, all of this has caused me to think more of the
hereafter....whenever I walk into a room I often wonder what I am
here after! <grin>.
