I am posting this message on at the request of Lupe McCann, the Suffolk County PAN political action coordinator. We thank everyone who took the time to contact Sen. D'Amato.Lupe is ecstatic! She has been trying for three years to get Sen. D'Amato to just cosponsor. Now he is going to be an original cosponsor! Your calls and letters are what did it, and your effort is greatly appreciated. I think that now it would be a good idea if we again write or call him and thank him for his support. We are making good progress. This is the year we will see success!! -- Bruce A.
