Beth: Amantadine generic is much cheaper than Symmetrel (brand). Edith reacted badly by starting with 100mg twice daily but later achieved better tremor control restarting with 1/2 tsp of amantadine liquid , then SLOWLY OVER SEVERAL WEEKS re-building the dose to capsules, 100mg twice daily.
