Ken's right.
It's true that proteins in the diet (e.g., large neutral amino acids) can
 compete with levodopa for entry into the brain.  Some PWP are more
sensitive to levodopa-protein interactions than others.
Don't forget about the amino acids that are found in some drinks (e.g.,
phenylalanine, the artificial sweetner, in diet sodas) and the
proteins in dietary supplements (e.g., Ensure, etc...).
Is there anyone out there who has been place on a modified-protein diet?
If so, how has it worked for you?
