Sleeping disorders for PD patients are VERY common. As we already take enough medication, I looked for help in a different area. I bought one of those "noise" generators. Brookstone and Sharper Image sell them. The device can be set to simulate such sounds as "ocean surf," "rain shower," "forest," etc. I am quite happy with mine. While not a "cure all" it certainly seems to help. I've been using it for a couple of months with good results. They start at about $100 and some even include an AM / FM clock radio.
