Jackie, Does your husband take meds for depression?? I was taking paxil, but when I damaged my elbow (ulner nerve) the doctor gave me imipramine, This is an anti-depressant, but is also a nerve pain med. I have fewer side effects and it helped me to get some sleep. You might talk to the doctor (gp or neuro) about this or other alternatives.
