Dear Listfriends,

Can ANYONE who has called or written their governor PLEEZ write our list
a brief note, so I can TABULATE what efforts are under way to get
Proclamations recognizing April as Parkinson's Awareness Month??

TODAY I added FLORIDA to VIRGINIA, MARYLAND, MAINE , NEW YORK AND
ARKANSAS. I had called the Parkinson's Action Network. I was told that a
PWP in FLORIDA is trying to get a Proclamation of PD Awareness Month
achieved.

.Who are you, and will you puh-leez let me help!! I need a BREAK from
endless snow and ice and bitter winds and ch-ch-chilly w-w-weather!!

HELLO, orangegrove-land! I would be glad to walk in a Florida walkathon
and get out of this BRRR 19 deg. F. Maine endless winter!!
If only some rich and benevolent soul would fly me and a caregiver
there......oh well, fantasies of explaining how I got my suntan.........

Say, LIsa, how about in the Caribbean? Can you call your governor (or is
prime minister?) while that icepack cools your sunbaked muscles?
And invite me to get out of this icebound state for a while!! Cabin
fever is getting me!!!

Or how about you, MElody?? The NEGEV sands can't be negative when eight
inches of snow and knee-high drifts still coat the landscape.....

Dennis, Leslie, and my Australian friends, send me some SUN from,as we
Mainers would say, "DOWN UNDAH!"

In my spare time (is there any?) I'll sing basso profundo melodies to a
marsupial or two....if some angel would just fly me
there.....fantasies......
