It's me again.
RU486 has been labelled as the "French abortion pill."
It's a derivative of the female hormone, progesterone.  And it has been
used legally in France, China, and other countries to terminate unwanted
pregancies (prior to 6 weeks gestation).  In some countries, it's a
non-surgical option to abortion.
It has caused alot of controversy, especially in the U.S.  It's not
approved here yet, but it's very close to it.  The generic name is
mifepristone.
That was probably more than you wanted to know.
