Allan..... Flagyl is an antibiotic which was prescribed for me to treat a
non-PD related infection.  During the week I took the drug I felt as
near-normal as I had in the 21 years I've lived with PD.  The drug is NOT a PD
mendicant... this was surprise reaction causing me to do  the 3 weeks of
testing which I posted about here on the list.

Based upon advise given me by the clinical pharmacologist from the HMO I
belong to, I've decided, however well I felt, that it is potentially too
dangerous to take the drug on a continuous basis even for relief of PD
symptoms.
