TO: Parkinsons Community - in Arizona & Nationwide
PURPOSE::  Please pass the word.
FROM: Maryhelen Davila - Phoenix Arizona

A post to the Parkinson's worldwide community members was made on the
PARKINSN LIST publicizing a list of U.S. Senators and Congressmen that
should be contacted and asked to co-sponsor our bill (The Morris K. Udall
Parkinsons Research and Education bill of 1997).

I spoke to Ms. Schmdt at the Washington D.C. office of Congressman Kolbe,
Representative of District 5 of the proud state of Arizona. Ms. Schmidt
reaffirmed my notice sent a while back : not only is congressmaan Kolbe a
previous co-sponsor ('96), but he is also an origional sponsor of our bill
this year! She said she notified Upton & Waxman. I felt I had to doublle
check because last year, by error, one of our other congresmen that agreed to
co-sign, was inadvertantly left off the list.

             "Congressman J. KOLBE of ARIZONA
                                    supports the
                                MORRIS K. UDALL
         PARKINSONS RESEARCH AND EDUCATION ACT"
His name will be evident on our list of sponsors
for the April 9th bill introduction !.

                  Our Thanks to Congressman Kolbe!
