John A...

I'm looking into getting the collagen injections at UCLA, if I cannot talk my
HMO, Kaiser Permanente, into giving 'em to me. I've already asked my primary
care MD at Kaiser to refer me to an ENT to get the ball rolling there, but
darn, while I've had fine care there, THIS type of request takes a LONG time
to work it's way thru the system. But HEY... at least my MD didn't laugh or
turn me down (yet).

IF you're interested, you may contact Dr, Berke, at UCLA, at (310) 206-6688.
Dr. Berke is the "inventor " of the collagen injection treatment, and it's
already been approved by the FDA. Bovine collagen is used, and the treatment
lasts initially from 3 to 5 months. After that, subsequent treatments last
much longer.
Cost per treatment at UCLA is $500.
