Mike claeys of the Parkinson's Action Network [log in to unmask] has asked me to post this request for letters to McCain and Upton again. Please use fax numbers and as it may be too late to mail letters and get them to DC on time unless you send them fedex. SEND LETTERS TO UDALL SPONSORS All Parkinson's activists should immediately send letters to the Udall Parkinson's Research Act's Senate and House introducing sponsors: Senator John McCain (R-AZ) and Fred Upton (R-MI). Letters should thank the Udall champions for reintroducing the bill this year, and they should also contain a brief personal statement on why the bill is important to you. Explain why you have worked so hard these last years, and why you're prepared to work even harder this year to ensure that the Udall bill becomes law. The purpose is to give the sponsors an opportunity to tangibly demonstrate the Parkinson's community's strong support for the Udall bill at the press conference and in the Congressional Record. For these reasons, all letters must be received by Senator McCain and Congressman Upton no later than Tuesday, April 8th. Don't delay, fax your letters immediately! Show your support for the Udall bill by sending your letters to: Senator John McCain United States Senate Washington, DC 20510 Fax: (202)228-2862 Congressman Fred Upton U.S. House of Representatives Washington, DC 20515 Fax: (202) 225-4986
