I think you should discourage them with actual information about the harmfulness of pesticides. Your local organic farming group could be very helpful. I would worry about Jack and his exposure to the pesticides his parents exposed him to. He may have a predisposition to it. Even if it doesn't cause pd pesticides certainly do harm if used to the extent they seem to have used them. Good luck. Den
