I have followed with interest the postings about exposure to metals and = chemical toxins. I was diagnosed with PD 1990, symptoms since 1987. In 1976, I had a = Copper 7 IUD inserted for contraceptive reasons. I fell pregnant despite = the IUD, but lost the baby at 16 weeks. The doctor explained that the = copper in the IUD had caused a spontaneous abortion.=20 I wonder if the copper could have affected me too, and have something to = do with my developing PD.
