I know this is a bit late, but someone asked about baclofen recently.
Found some old notes, as follows:
>From J. Neurol, Neurosurg, Psychiatry 1978, A.J. Lees et al, No 41, 707.
In PD, in a double-blind crossover study in 12 patients with Parkinsonism
talking l-dopa and a decarboxylase inhibitor, baclofen, in an average dose
of 45 mg daily, aggravated rigidity and functional disability, but there
was a reduction in the pain and the severity of dystonia in 4 patients with
morning "off" period dystonia. Adverse effects were common and included:
tremors, insomnia, diarrhoea or constipation, hypotension, confusion,
drowsiness, nausea & vomiting.
