As part of this world-wide event, the Hon. Hilary Weston, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, will host a reception to celebrate the work of health professionals and the often unrecognized efforts of caregivers. At the reception, a $2 million endowment, called the Laura L. Sabia Education and Research Endowment, will also be announced, which will form part of the foundation's research trust.
