Dear Edythe -- Aricept is a newer drug used for Alzheimer's dementia. Some PWPs have tried it with good reported results. You will need to ask your neuro if s/he will prescribe it for your husband. I believe that as it is approved for one use, a doc. can use it for other illness also, if that seems desirable.
